Rebecca graduated from the VCA Music Theatre program in 2008, winning the Ron & Marg Dobell Scholarship which sent her to continue her Musical Theatre studies in New York and London. On her return Rebecca toured the country as Amy in HIT production’s Motherhood: The Musical. She has since performed in Children of Eden for Magnormos, Twisted Broadway, cabarets; Like Love and Things that Don’t Belong to Me and in Calvin Berger at the Southbank Theatre. Rebecca has been involved in a number of musical workshops including; Pink, Just Deserts, The White Mouse, NED and the recent staged reading of ‘Housewarming’ at 45 downstairs.
Rebecca is passionate about the cultivation of diversity within Melbourne’s Music theatre scene, the training of young performers and in the development of new works. She is on the Music Theatre panel for the Green Room Awards and has recently become a board member for the Ron & Margaret Dobell Foundation. Follow her on Instagram @msbeckit
